Quilled Puppy ..and .Raffia Flower

this little cheeky puppy was made using primark paper bag

and another flower :))

from Raffia craft Ribbon .

these ribbons are different from paper twine 

paper twine is made from crepe paper

and these raffia craft ribbons are made from tissue paper

i assume ..

these are flat so i rolled it like a string

Recycled Card

                                I made this  simple Christmas card 
                         


                                  Once in three months we receive news letter 
from RBC .(DAILY BREAD ).I saved this picture in my box and
 now used it in this card .
The maroon card base is from my daughters old 
Exercise note book .by the end of term kids bring home 
bundle of them and the back and cover pages are always 
neat and clean and thick as well .i couldn't take a picture of 
the maroon ,it was cut and sleeping in my craft box for a year. 
                                
lavender one here is the other one i am gonna use in my  next craft ..
                       

                                       


     i 've used peel off stickers and borders and quilled holly
    and ivy.both the green and red papers are from magazines.

                                                                                  

                                                                                


                                                                             

Quilled Squirrels

                            I made this quilled picture yesterday .(started it few days ago !!!)I really enjoyed making this because except the background hand made paper all the materials are recycled and reused .and i am in search of a second hand box frame (only then i could say its a recycled quilled art )
just kidding !!!. i couldn't find the right size frame for this .in a hurry to post this.

we were left with several unused business reply brown envelopes .
i drew the out line and filled it with several marquiseand tear drop shapes .
The fence as i have mentioned HERE is made with 
primark paper bags handle cut into fence shape, colored 
with maroon brush markers .
the grass ,i cut very thin strips from old file dividers and 
 colored them . red and pink punched flowers are from old magazine 
 papers .even the beads i used for the flowers are from my daughters 
old beaded bracelet.
i slightly shaded the squirrels with fresh chalk .

                                              Most of the materials used in this 
                         card are recycled ,unwanted things.
                         Last week i went to Lidl Super market ,there i saw 
                         these cardboard round pieces near the vegetable 

                         section.

                                       the vegetable boxes have ventilation and these
                                       circles come with the package .
                                       Now i used three (i couldn't find more LoL)!!!

                                       to make the teddy .i dabbed the edges with ink

                                                                                  
                                             i cut  the smallest circle into two for ears
                                             the other two, used for body and face .
                                           for the hands and legs i used primark 
                                            paper bags handle .

                                                                                

                                                                          


                                                                           i added two black
                                                             seed beeds for the eyes,
                                                             and a red color split pin 
                                                             for nose .i stuck the head
                                                           slightly in a slanting position
                                                           so that the quilled Bouquet 
                                                          does not hide the face .

                                                           
                                                            for the pink color of cheeks
                                                              i used fresh chalks.

                                                          
                                                                             from this bag i
                                                          cut a round piece for the 
                                                           middle of the flower.
                                                          (i received a christmas present 
                                                            in this bag)

                                      here i have used midi and mini punches 
                                     for leaves and flowers .red ones are papers and
                                     silver flowers are yogurt foil

                                   My teddy card is ready.

                         the card base i have used to make the easel flowers is 
                        from a old file/folder dividers   .

                        if the borders,edges go uneven while cutting 
                        the card i suggest to distress the edges with ink 
                        so it looks neat.

                                I made this quilled card for a family friend .
                                Except   the card base  backing and flowers
                                all the others are  made with recycled 
                                materials.
                                 the happy birthday sentiment was 
                                stamped on the back side of
                                easter egg chocolate cardboard  box.
                                for the fence  and little bird ,i cut the 
                                pieces and  colored them  from this.

                                                                       
                                          this is the handle of Primark  paper bag.
                                           it was sturdy and was suitable for the fence .

                                                                              


                                                      for inner part of bird house ,i cut the 
                                         borders from china restaurant ad paper .


                                          its buttercups everywhere ,i saw them in my
                                         brother in laws house and took a picture .
