Quilling with Garden Jute twine

Dear friends ,
i made this card with garden jute twine .

                                                                                  

and for the flower centre i used yellow embroidery thread .

Quilling with Natural Materials

        I saw this type of filigree with jute in a Russian web site .
i tried it with green jute   .

                                                                                     

                                                                               

                                                                             

 I took a print out of the Christmas clip art 
laid a  plastic sheet over it     ,
cut the jute to desired length rolled it with finger 
and stuck it with glue to the plastic sheet ..
left it to dry for a while and 
gently removed it from the sheet and stuck it to the card .
..
 for the trees base i used a piece of jute ,then removed it and 
replaced it with paper base .
