Quilled Book Marks

Hi Friends ,Today i made two quilled bookmarks 

                                        this is  for my friend.                                           

                                                                               

the first one was made with recycled materials.
the card   is from this .this is the detox tea i bought from 
Mark and Spencer.

i was as usual tempted by the color(pearl white 

                        with decorative pink borders) .one side was plain 
                        without Any print .
                        i cut and used it as base for the book mark.

                                                               

                                                                                

                                                                                 
the green leaves and stem are made from an old invitation card ##
butterfly from an old news letter .
even the tag is from my daughters dress .

Quilled Birthday Card

 Hi Friends ,

I made this card for my friend ...she loves listening to music :)))
the back ground french music sheet is from    here 
Thanks Susan ,for introducing Beehive technique to us ...
i made the petals  with single piece of papers ..
made four swirls and with the remaining piece of the same strip i rolled around

Quilled Teddy Bear /Recycled Quilling

I made this Teddy with corrugated paper lining from Biscuit Box.
i  cut the paper with craft knife .and made this teddy with
open style Quilling  technique .
i drew the out line on a piece of old pink color file divider 
and did the Quilling around it .

Quilled Miniature Kokeshi Doll

Here is My first Kokeshi 3D Miniature Doll !!!

                                                                                           

now i've fallen love with these pretty dolls .

i didn't use clear nail varnish on this doll .it 

would have been neat if i had used it .

                                                                                 

                                                                                       

                                                                                          

This is my LITTLE ONES BLOG .

she would be posting her creations during summer holidays 

when time permits do drop in and encourage her .

Quilled Kokeshi Doll and Open Petal Flowers.

after seeing her crocheted kokeshi dolls ,i decided to make 
a 3d miniature of that ,
but it is on the way ,before that ,i would like to share the card 
with baby kokeshi 
visit here to know more about them :))
and about  these open petal flowers (thanks tocecelia}.
i did not know the  instructions for these pretty flowers ,made
with a single long strip of paper .
i was about to give up then i tried repeatedly and finally :)))))
they are here .

while making these flowers please  precut quilled papers ,
because they are comfortable to fold and curve    .
these  flowers i tried with my scrap papers.
but the red one is ready made quilled paper so it has turned out very well     .

Quilled Teddy Bear /open style Quilling

Hi Dear Friends ,

                                                                          
I made another quilled teddy and this time i used open style quilling 
iwas inspired by Katrins bear with balloon card 
i used corrugated paper lining from biscuit box :))))

                                                                               




except the card base and backing paper all are recycled materials .
it was very easy and fun  to make open style quilling .:)))

                                                                               


hope you like it.
first i added a tiny tight coil for teds nose ....

                                                                
but the main critic of my cards my daughter said that it looks like
 a pigs face rather than bears .
whooops((((((((  
then i removed it and added a mini brad :)))

                                                                                 
wow !!!!! after correction !!!!

                                                                                      
            and i gave this to her because its transition  day 
for the children here and they meet their new teacher today .
and my daughter is moving to a new higher secondary school .
she seemed very happy :))
