My Little Puppy ...Graphics Quilling

Dear Friends ,
I   Made this Quilled Puppy ...

i saw several puppy images and clip arts in the net .
there where loads of very cute, cheeky  , puppies.
I just took the idea from them ..
drew it on a piece of paper and cut the out line laid it on a card.
then drew the out line. used my embossing tool around the edges.
then used chalks to show the embossed areas
highlighted ,then i colored it with pencils and quilled over the picture
it turned out  quite big and had to put it in a frame .
my dear hubby said adding more designs to the picture might ruin
it !!! so left the idea of adding borders and butterflies :)))

only after half way through ....i realized i have started the quilling on a
file folder divider .....instead of white card ...

and in this picture iv'e glued the paper strips very closely without gap.
the brown paper is a slightly thick piece of paper bought from a
garden center  craft shop.the white ,,,is from a very long envelope
that comes along with calendars ..and the black is from scrap
book paper..ALL WERE CUT ..USING MY PAPER SHREDDER .:))

Thanks Dear Friends for your lovely Comments and encouragement .

Angelin ..

  3. You have done a perfect job. I am glad you are using the paper strips like I do so they look more like fur.Even though using coils looks good, I think using the strips more innovatively makes them look more life like.

  6. Great work, Angelin! I like how you glued the paper strips so close together, almost leaving no gaps in between.
